“Hi, I’m Dr. Mitchell Wachtel and today we’re going to talk about fractures and tendinitis.

Many of our patients walk into our practice after they’ve fallen or had a traumatic event where they’ve fractured one of the bones in their feet. Sometimes treatment is as simple as taping a toe. Otherwise we can apply a soft or hard cast. All of this is done in our office with x-rays. After treatment is applied we stick with the patient for 3-6 months to make sure the problem area properly heals. Some patients don’t heal correctly so there are other options like ultra-sound therapy where the patient takes it home and applies it to the foot to increase healing.”
