Currently we treat heel and arch pain, soft tissue masses/plantar warts, ingrown nail and fungal nails. We have in office laser surgery available. All aspects of the diabetic foot are are treated, including ulcers, infections, and footwear. We also treat foot sprains, fractures, plantar fasciitis type pain and tendonitis. We treat tired burning feet, nerve impingement, bony deformities such as bunions, hammertoes, heel spurs and flat feet. We evaluate and treat sports medicine type injuries. Custom made orthotics is another specialty of the practice.

Dr. Mitchell Wachtel is certified in both podiatric primary care and podiatric surgery by the American Podiatric Medical Specialties Board.
Dr. Mitchell Wachtel is a foot doctor in the towns of North Andover, Methuen, Lowell and Bradford, Ma. He treats foot disorders like bunions, heel pain, nerve problems in the feet like an entrapped nerve called a neuroma, painful lesions onthe bottom of the feet, of the feet. His practice has an emphasis on sports medicine and provides a number of conservative treatments for injuries of the foot and has a physical therapist on site at his office. Another area of expertise is pediatric conditions such as flatfoot, high arch foot, in toeing, out toeing and toe walkers. There a variety of conservative treatments for pediatric deformies of the foot and ankle.
